Swoon Along

It was lovely to meet so many new faces at the Evening Bee last night at Whitewaters, it's always so much fun to talk sewing with new peeps and share the love!

Next week is a busy fun filled one for me with the launch of my new PlainStitch Workroom on Thursday 6th March plus the exciting kick off of our Swoon-Along at the Bee.

If you're joining in the Swoon Along, hopefully now after our intro sessions you now have your pattern and have started to get your fabrics sorted and next March Bee's we will get into the details of cutting out our blocks and how it comes together.

I'm seeing so many exciting colour combos from everyone that I have Swoon-envy already! If you've just jumped in and started, do bring your blocks along to share, it's going to be such fun.

This months evening Bee at Whitewaters Deli Cafe in Back Street Wendover, on Tuesday 25th Feb from 8pm. Get here early as it does fill up quickly!

Bee & Free Tea!

Everyone knows that a nice cup of tea goes with sewing like, well tea and sewing! Those of you who came along in your hordes and filled up Whitewaters Cafe Deli for our first evening BeeEve, also know what a lovely venue it is for sewing.

Fabulous news for Bee Card Holders - new card perks! Whitewaters Cafe Deli has kindly offered our Bee Card holders a free hot beverage when they visit the cafe outside of the Bee Eve. Just show your Bee card from Monday next week (10th Feb) to receive your free hot drink of choice.

Take a friend and a bit of sewing or knitting and settle into one of their lovely oak benches and watch the world go by from the big windows.........you can even have your lunch if you get really settled in and the housework waiting at home doesn't appeal ( lovely quiche btw!) What could be nicer?!

Your card doesn't have to be full, but you can only use each card once and Whitewaters will add their little stamp to show its been redeemed.

Also just to remind everyone that the next BeeEve is on Feb 25th from 8pm - come nice and early to get a good seat - we are busy!

The next daytime Bee is on March 4th. Somehow I managed to leave March off some of the posters and flyers with the dates on but we will be there!!
