Autumn Busy-Bee-ness

We had a fabulous day at the Wendover Sewing Bee yesterday - I think it was the most productive Bee we've had. Everyone came on a mission to sew and get a project sorted. Sewing machines hummed and low chat buzzed, but most of all lots and lots of  sewing went on. Quilts were getting bound and quilted, Farmers Wife Class blocks were springing up everywhere, lots of English paper piecing was pieced, rustling papers and wrestling with fabric choices, felting needles tap tapping through the wool roving, laughter and a tea and cake. New Bee-ers and old sewing friends, it was a perfect morning. So perfect that I actually DID sew a stitch rather than buzz about chatting for 2 hours but therefore alas, failed to take any pictures at all to share - so here is a gratuitous shot of lovely sewing notions. Enjoy !

Remember, remember we next meet on the 5th November - hope to see you all then,
